I was hiking and collecting zebra swallowtail caterpillars off of pawpaws (asimina reticulata). I kept seeing these bugs on the pawpaws and just wondered if anyone knew what they were. I was wondering if they were any threat to the caterpillars or if they were benign.

I think it's a flea beetle, Disonycha fumata. Or at least closely related. They eat leaves.
