Nice!
You may have a greenhouse in your backyard already
the Min green houses run about 40.00 at lowes but Ive seen them for about 30.00 at Odd or Big lots stores.. I have one half that size that my sister got at a grage sale for me for 7.00.. they work great
that was my first GH too, on sale at Lowe's end of season. I still use the shelves.
I found a small one on the side of the road. It only has a top shelf. Did have 2. The cover was a loss but I'm using the shelf and it's small enough i may be able to make a cover with bubble wrap if i need to.
Joanna, the plastic on the roll that is very wide would probably work best. We used industrial strength shower curtains. We connected them with heavy duty duct tape, but the rain about did it in. We had to reinforce it several times. It was still cheaper than your average hoop green house and worked well.
So glad you were able to find a frame!

Anything will probably work for a season - furniture stores often have heavy plastic wrap that they pitch. Good find!
I used clear 6 mil vapor plastic, typically found in the home hardware stores in the drywall section. It is heavy and wide, so less duct taping. There is no way that this plastic will tear or rip
I was given a shelf unit uprite that folds up about two feet by five, perfect to put in my greenhouse or use to start plants if I wrap with clear plastic, could even make a cover from clear plastic tablecloth from fabric dept at walmart.
Curves, Dollar General has some shower curtain liners that are heavy weight and crystal clear, $6 each. It would probably take 3 for your size shelf unit. I think with the hook holes along the top, it would be easy to run a cord through the holes, overlapping the side edges so they close up tighter, would work perfectly.
Thanks , that is great, and we have two!
