Heh there, dont know you but if its your B/Day...then happy days ahead for you! Im brand new to DG and love MG's and have tons of seeds. Hope you had a great day as I know its early now. I work shift work and cant always get on board with everything. I need lotsa advice for container planting with MG's. Hope everyone has a great day here!

Welcome to the MG forum - you have certainly come to the right place.

I don't know where this forum would be without container culture, because for those of us living in northern zones, the best way to ripen some seed in order to perpetuate a cultivar or species is to grow it in a pot. That way, we can bring the potted vine indoors when frost threatens in the fall.

You would do a tremendous favor if you could start a new thread just on containers - it would be wonderful to get some discussion going on a thread devoted to the topic and collect past germane posts so I could link the whole thread to our sticky index, which is now a work in progress.

Thank you for bringing up the subject of containers - very appropo this time of year.
