I love this time of year. Always seem to see new and different blooms. Some I can identify, some are still wearing a big ?
Do you have any you would: Care to share or have IDd? Learn to multiply or erradicate?
This vine was pulled out of a tree top. Guess I assumed it was Carolina jessamine. What a surprise to see these blooms on ground level.

Springtime Weeds & Wildflowers... Care to share?
Aha! Someone else that takes photos of WEEDS! LOL Keep them coming please.... pod
Those kind of carrot family plants should only be ID'd when they're seeding or in seed...this according to a plant expert more knowledgeable than me. One that I pull up a lot of is Beggar's Ticks, Torilis arvensis....not seeding now, but I know what I'm pulling up because that's the only one like that in my yard.
What a mess this area is, guess it's a case of letting this area get too weedy because it's kind of where I don't see it much....the long out-of-focus plant is a Venus's Looking Glass, which will shortly have purple flowers. I think the fern-looking thing is a wild form of dill...on rare occasion I see Black Swallowtail caterpillars on those. At the bottom right is a wild form of parsley called Daucosma, which grows tall and flowers (clusters of tiny white flowers) in summertime, also hosting the same kind of caterpillar. Somewhere there on the left is something I actually planted there....a salvia, I think, but memory fails on what kind.
This is one of the vetches...I believe it's Deer Pea Vetch...viny weed that is invasive, little pale purple flowers later on. If it goes to seed, it'll be back...all over!
Just noticed...that's Texas Thistle on the bottom left...I let a few grow in the yard...I like them as long as they don't get too numerous!

cocoa_lulu, that's not it. Deer Pea Vetch has tiny pea-like blooms. I can't even show them in a photo with my camera's capability, that's how small they are. Not sure what that is you have.
Hey Jaye ~ glad to see another weed-ophile join us. I love the Carolina jessamine ~ it is not just beautiful but fragrant! Do you know what that yellow bloom is? I would be scared to guess a dandelion for fear I would be wrong ~ LOL
Cocoa ~ your yellow NOIDs are unknown here ~ any clue? They are a bright spot.
I do like the weeds & wildflowers more and know less about them.
Violets here too ~ I won't ask who doesn't like them. I'm sure they can be a plague for some but I am always cheered by them!
Pod, yes, it is the lowly dandelion! Beauty ain't she? I call it a poor cousin of the Gerber daisy.
Can anyone tell me what this is? The colour softer than the wild violets, and the leaves are serrated like. Kel's happy that he didn't have to mow the grass till much later. Moreover, they're food for the travelling bees and the rare butterflies.
Oh goodie Cocoa!! Thank you. Why do I get so excited over these 'weeds' name? They might be weeds, but they're loved weeds..or field pansies!!
It could be this one'

Josephine.
That be da one, Josephine. Thanks.
Keep them coming....I love learning their names.
Jaye
Does anyone know the name of the weed that when you grab it, it stings you? I've been encountering them this year in my beds and they hurt like crazy!
Buckeye? Really... I will need to check it out. Not familiar with that one... thanks!
Bull nettles maybe? The leaves have a fuzzy look?
