Happy Easter - Babies, Bunnies...and other furry things...
those are priceless!!! Deb
Chantell, those pictures made my day! Oh how I miss the kids being that small and sitting on the Bunnies...or even Santa's lap.
Chloe is one beautiful little lady, just like her Grandma!
Debbie
Awwwww. How precious. Thanks, Chantell. Give Chloe a big smooch for me. Happy Easter.
Hope the bunny brings lots of chocolate eggs.
Bonnie
That is adorable. Thanks Chantell.
Lee
Thank you, Chantell - what a moment
I agree..."priceless", especially the last one :) Happy Easter everyone!
Don't you just wonder how the "bunny" was feeling inside with that precious little one being so sweet? I bet he felt all warm and fuzzy too!
Happy Easter,
Debbie
Thanks to all of you!!! Debbie I was thinkin' the very same thing...she kept lovin' on him/her!! She has her sweet moments!!
Happy Easter to you all! Thanks for the cute pictures! Chloe is so adorable!
OMG Holly just LOOK at her...what an adorable little sweetheart!!
Gosh she is beautiful, Ruby...what a sweet pic - the two of you!!
Ruby she sure is a sweetie. Bet she is getting big.
Good old Unk Josh went up to his sister's house on Friday and took down a broken tree limb and while he was at it he hung Lily's swing. That's Josh, his twin sister Jen, her daughter Lily and my other GS JR. We should have gotten a picture of Josh in the tree, as you can tell the tree branch is much higher than the garage roof.

LOVE that last one!!
You too have some great looking grandchildren Holly. I love the little one's pink hat.
Ruby
What beautiful baby girls we have here on Pets. Do you think they will be "talking" on Pets when they are our age? If we could somehow archive their baby photos, that would be awesome!
Thanks to all of you for the precious photographs. My "grands" are 11 and 8.
Bonnie
Bonnie - your girls are gorgeous...you should share with everyone!!
OMG Debbie!! She could win a contest....just LOOK at her!! That "look" says I may look sweet but my inner Dennis the Menace can surface at any time!!! LOL
Oh you could just hug and smooch on her for hours, I bet
Oh Debbie, She is just adorable, too cute for words. I too see that mischief in her eyes. Grandchildren are just wonderful. But as my other children put it. You can have a real good time being and Aunt and Uncle but then you get to take them home when the fun is done. LOL
Here is another picture from the same day as the swing. JR with his Unk Matt (that's Lily's Dad).
He is so cute! I admit, besides being in love with Ronni and her curls...and being able to dress her up so frilly, I have a secret fettish for little boys. I had 3 daughters...then my son. I am a "Tonkamom" thru and thru....and that used to be my AOL name for over 7 years! LOL
This little guy is just a couple weeks older than Ronni, and twice her size. Ronni is 20 months old....and only weighs 18 lbs, they keep teasing she will be in Kindergarden and still riding backwards in the carseat.
This is her cousin, my nephew, Austin. He is 22 months.
OMG...you could just die in those eyes...what a handsome fella he is
Chantell, You beat me to it. WOW, Just look at those eyes.
Debbie, I have two sons and two daughters, one GS and one GD. I enjoy them all in different ways. All four of my children have very different personalities. I really saw a difference when my twins (boy & girl) were born. Right from the very beginning they had very distinct personalities. I know all those Nature verses Nurture discussions and I believe that Nurture has a lot to do with how a child grows but I really believe that a lot of who they are comes right at birth. A lot of hard work but raising my children was the most wonderful thing I have ever done. Now I get to reap the extra rewards with my Grandchildren.
Holly, I have a question for you....and for you too Chantell, or any other mother.
Do you think the type of "labor" you had...is seen in the type of child you had? Example...easy delivery, easy child. Difficult delivery...difficult child?
I have 18 neices and nephews...from age 20 months up to age 26...and I love them all so much. It is so strange as I was raised as only child....and these are all from DH's side of the family.
Debbie
Easy Labor...almost an oxy-moron eh? LOL But now that you mention it Debbie...I can see similarities in the personalities and the labors....
1st born: takes FOREVER TO DO ANYTHING - still passively bullheaded - things done in her time - she was a premmie but i was in labor 24+ hrs.
2nd born: Was for the longest time the MOST willful child - course she's turned into an exceptional young woman. This was my MOST difficult labor AND delivery
3rd born: wasn't hard or easy...she just arrived and was quite layed back - WAS being the key word here...LOL
4th born: only son - painful but fast labor and easy deliever...he's always been easy going.
ALL females extremely opinionated - I have NO earthly idea where they get that from!!
ROFL, yep, thats what I am talking about.
My 1st almost litereally killed me during delivery and to this day, her motives are questionable about that...especially with the impending wedding! LOL Does everything in her own time and her own way!
My 2nd, a very easy going labor, faster, and although painful, much easier than first. Very happy go lucky baby from birth on and should be a Disney character...and that is why she is graduating with her Bachelors in May, and going on to a PHd in Science and Cancer research.
My 3rd, very similar to my second, but had to be induced. As for her...anything she does takes coaxing and must be induced! Very tough child from day 1...health issues...but because she is so tough and spunky...thats why she is still here on this earth. She could argue Dr. Phil and the Iraq army into surrender.
My 4th....and only son also...just like number 2. Fast labor, faked everyone out and suddenly was "there" ready for the doctor to catch him. He is still like that, loves to sneak up on me! LOL He was 10.5 oz and 23 inches long....and after being tiny as a child...has long passed me and all his sisters! He is my "mama's boy" also...although won't admit it! LOL
Debbie, I am an only child, too. Although my Mother had 5 sisters and my Dad had 6 brothers & sisters. So I grew up with wonderful doting Aunts and Uncles and plenty of cousins to play with.
As for your question I couldn't say. All my deliveries were fast and easy. I did notice with my twins. That even as very little babies Jen didn't like to be picked up and passed around. Josh on the other hand couldn't have cared less. He was the "Here would you like to hold" baby. As they grew Jen was always shyer, holding back next to me till she felt comfortable before venturing out. Josh on the other hand would run bravely out into the crowd. Although both very popular in school, Josh was always the leader in social functions. Dragging Jen out into the group, once there she would mix well and was very successful with her activities. But I always wonder if without Josh would she have ever ventured. Of course Jen has her strong points too. Guiding Josh in other areas. At 32 they are still very close. Here they are with Lily at Christmas
