Crinum Lily Necks

I have some crinum lilies that have very tall necks on them now... I was wondering if I could cut them down a bit....

Any ideas?

Ah, Donna, this might have got an answer in the bulb forum, not a true lily but no matter. I wouldn't cut off the neck, just take off any leaves as they die back to tidy it. If the neck is tall then the plant has made it that way in order to protect the bulb. Some crinums are more of a stem than bulb anyway.

Was wondering cause some of mine have grown to have a rather long neck.
