Hiya ..
Well .. one of Lilly's BDay presents was DOGGY school .. which we have attended for 3 weeks .. she has done amazingly well.
Last class was March. 13 .. March 17 she got groomed and March 18 .. well .. she developed not exactly a cough .. but a sort of 'Catch' in her throat .. and a runny nose .. kinda lethargic .. :-( went to the vet on March 20th .. one chest xray and many$$ later .. he diagnosed her with 'Kennel cough' Her xrays look not to bad .. one bronchiole looks a bit thickened (irritated) .. no meds .. just like a human cold it'll pass ..
I called the vet tech (from another vet hosp) who runs the obedience classes .. told her the bad news ... Lilly only ever interacted with the 11 dogs in the class .. we live in the country with NO dogs about .. she was upset (to be expected) she had her 8 wk old choc lab puppy at the last 2 classes .. sooooo ... I have a CONUNDRUM ............. the vet says it's OK to go back to class next Thursday .. but I am feeling unsure ...
Has anyone had any experience with this and .. ANY suggestions ??
