Update on my adoption

It seems Maddie is one sick pup...the foster mom called me today and said shortly after we left she became ill with the diarrhea and some blood in her stools and then began to vomit. They rushed her to the vet and she did blood work and they have her on an antibiotic. Her white cells are elevated a good bit. They also found that the retina in her right eye is detached and probably will go blind in that eye...they aren't sure yet what that is from, maybe she was born with it, kidney failure or blunt force...So of course her spaying is put an hold and also our adoption, if we even are allowed at this point...right now I wish I hadn't met her, I am so sad and disappointed for her...I am trying to think positive...
