I wish mine were that tall right now !

I have to admit, I had paid help to get it this clean. I wish I could take the credit, but I can take the credit for the last 7 rows! His help didn't show up til we were almost done, so I pitched in. They are doing really well.
Now spring needs to bring on them blooms!

Does anyone know what the name of this one is? I have it coming up all over the yard and there's also a white one, it's done blooming.

These babies love spring too. They'll go through about 5- 50 pound bags of koi food before summer even gets here.

Good morning Louise

Regarding your unknown plant above, I think it's some type of Squill. Here is some you can look at http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/search.php?q=squill&Search=Search+PlantFiles

My red sliders have been enjoying this beautiful weather also. They both bask in the sun all day long. The female is shedding her shell right now and it looks funny. I just want to reach over and peel off the pieces. lol

Guess what we saw this past month? Turtle babies walking around the garden. They are very small, about the size of a silver dollar. We found 2 so far, but one of them has died. They haven't gone near the pond yet, as I guess the parents will eat them when they are so small. They hide out in the gardens, usually under plants.
We have seen the parents doing their mating dance many times and we also saw the mother trying to dig a hole last spring in some hard dirt, but I don't know when and where she laid these.

Isn't spring just beautiful? Seeing all the bulbs and plants coming alive after a long cold winter. I am really looking forward to seeing the Iris you gave me last year, bloom this year. It was called Twice Thrilling or something like that. It is a pink one.

Today is another beautiful day and tomorrow it's supposed to be nice also. Hope you have a lovely Easter with all of your family. :-)

Thank you Donna! Yes spring is absolutely amazing. Congrats on the new babies, I'm jealous...I'm still having a hard time trying to find a female slider to buy. Months ago, I gave my name and number to a local reptile store here and still no females. 'sighing'
Yes I did give you Twice Thrilling. I hope it opens up real soon for you.
Off to the garden to put Preen and fertilizer down, the garden is really clean and that's the way it's going to stay. It's almost 90 here so far, tomorrow, Easter is supposed to be just as nice.
I looked at the link you sent and mine doesn't look like that, those flowers are in a cluster, I have a grape hyacinth and I'm thinking that's what your link is???? I just call my NOID "purple bells!"
Hoppy Easter to you and yours too.
Love ya!

weege...your blue flower is Hyacinthoides hispanica...aka Spanish Bluebell.
Lots of people interchange the name with Squill's like Donna said.

Thank you mister Mike! That cleared that dilemma.
Happy Easter my bud!

Thanks for the nice pictures; when I was in SoCal for Easter there were big fat buds on all the bright red Amaryllis you gave me, Donna. I had to leave before I could see them bloom.

The one I bought when you and I went to Roger's Gardens had already put on a full flush before I got there so all I got to see was the dried up blooms. :(

Hi Arlene, yep all my red one's are in full bud right now and there is one that bloomed this morning. It's too bad you missed the other one. :-((
