Is there any tea and pie left for me? Peach pie, yum
Star, as I said before, you tell a good story. As bittersweet as it was, I enjoyed reading it.

Happy Easter!
Adele, Happy Easter!
HAPPY EASTER
Oh Star, I laughed and I cried when I read your story! Sooo funny imagining the blossoms floating off around peoples cars as you drove home. Very sad that its gone to god now!
Happy Easter all, I might go and make an Easter arrangement. Back soon!
Sue
Happy Easter everyone!
Ohhhh, I got distracted! It's very hard to go outside to one particular thing. I saw caterpillar damage and made a batch of Dipel to spray and then did the eco oil spray for scale and preventitve. Then I weeded a bit and, well, you get the pic. And now Easter is gone! Waaaaaah!
Someone please come up with another theme. I loved the last one! What about a seashell/seashore one?
Morning everybody. If you take you hand and rap your knukles on a table near ya , the sound you hear is the sound my knees making now. I feezing. Somebody took away the sun and it a cold frosty morning and will be down in the freezing and low 30's again for the next couple of days just when thinsg was starting to sprout good. My poor flowers . whawwwwwww. sniff.
Beautiful Easter displays and really love your purple flowered one Terri. Was a nice site to see this morning. : ) Enjoy seeing the purple in your arrangement than the purpleish brusies I sportign from tripping and falling over pallets and pots trying to scramble and get everythign I could under cover last night.
I have some sheashells in my shrunk. Ones that came from my grandmother when she lived in Flordia. Not sure how well they work in an arrangement, but maybe can see what I cna do.
oops I got distracted as well, probably the left over wine from the Easter celebration or was it the ham, or apple crisp or the grandbabies or oh well, you get it, lets go arrange !
Who-hooooo usually I either never have any flowers or somethign goign on that I am either the last person or don't get to play.
Well this mornign while uncovering plants I foudn a few blooms, and found my shells so here my seashell, seashore.
Nothing much was fun to play aroudn with. Forgot I had the tiny seashell vase, plopped some half dead calibrahoa leave sin there, my interpertation of seaweed. LOL
Oh Star, you are so quick! What beautiful shells! I love shells and beach pebbles and all things coastal. Can't wait to see more. Should i have opened a new thread about this theme?

Candee has a new theme. Light my fire!
Let's start a new thread for seashell, seashore and the light my fire can wait until another week.
That really is lovely. Sure looks like seaweed from here. You certainly uncovered some beauties they wouldn't have been hiding long in my garden.

Good morning!
Have any of you heard from Traci/pupilpropogtr? If she pops in here or you "see" her somewhere on DG please ask her to get ahold of me.
Thank you very much!
Beckie

Hi everyone,
Lovely new arrangement with sea shells Star, your flowers look in perfect condition! very nice blend of colours and I love the seaweed! Your shells are beautiful. It's been snowing here the last couple of days,I've been trying to keep warm too!
Thankyou Star, the purple flowers are dyed and the water goes purple in a clear vase
Sue, it's easy to get distracted in the garden! Good idea for a shellshell theme, I think!!! Hey, I'm in the middle of London, no beach in sight!!!!!!!!!! I will find some shells from somewhere.
Candee, another exciting theme to look forward too, Thanks.
Beckie, I haven't heard form Traci, maybe she went somewhere for Easter.
I think she was going to her moms for Easter, but nobody has heard from her. It's starting to worry me.
oh, beautiful arrangements everyone!!!
yea, we have dmailed and called her.......no luck.........hopefully she checks in soon......
I like the daffs and shells, very pretty!
We tried to call her too and no luck.........she is on speed dial now until we hear from her!!!!
BTW great pictures!!!
Going back to lurking...:o)
Lauri
Star, nice shells arrangement. With the use of neutral colors, it looks calm and relaxing as if I were at the beach.
Candee, I like the lighting in your first shells picture. It says to me "life is a gift". Great idea to use the shell as your container. Are those daffs from your garden?
Thank you, yes daffs finally but they actually were in the field across the road not actually in one of my beds. Glad to see a bloom somewhere outside.
You are right about the calm in Stars arrangement, it is very warm to the eye.
Will keep my eyes peeled for Traci, sure she will return before we know it with some intriguing story of where she has been hiding.
Beautiful Candee, it does look like the bright sunshine is shining on the shells. I like it very much! It has a tropical beach feel. Handy having the Daffs in the field across the road, lucky you!
Hi Beckie and Lauri, I'm sure our Traci will turn up soon, even if she has to go to a library to get online, Traci will!
I am starting to wonder though.....................
I haven't found ANY shells yet!
Oh Haighar.. when i saw your first photo it reminded me of when I lived in a camp groudn near a lake and would get up early in the ornign when it was still dark, grab a coffee thermos and a bag of fresh made donuts from the corner shop and would head out on the boat and just sit alogn with alot of other folks and all the boats would be quite as we watched the sun come up and those first rays of sun were so bright to see. You captured such a beautiful transition of night to day on a beach I think. I love it.
Donuts, Yummmmmm!
Hi Candee, I too, love the sunlight shot. Just gorgeous. We can't grow daffs here, not cold enough! Thanks for sharing with us. I've been off doing the "Light my fire" arrangement, so you will have to wait till maybe tomorrow for my seashell one.
Geeze Terri, didn't you pick up shells everytime you went to the beach? Apparently, some people have NEVER been to the beach! Are you one of them Terri? LOL
I've got seashells coming out my.........ears! I could send you a photo and you could superimpose your arrangement, or you could get seashell wrapping paper. Do you get that over there in Sunny England?
Sue
Got an e-mail from Traci and she has been busy and after crashing for some much needed shut eye she will try to get back here in the next day or two....
Lauri
So happy to hear that you have heard from Traci and she'll be joining us real soon. Thanks for the compliments.
Star your description of those mornings makes me drool, oh what a lovely way to start the day.
Sue, could you do daffs if you put the bulbs in fridge? Just wondering.
I have daffs coming in my garden but odd as it is although they are blooming 50 yards away in the field they are still closed buds in my beds? Go figure.
LOL at the seashells, I have so much of that stuff in my yard it looks like we live at the beach. I actually got one conch shell and an anchor from a lady in Australia on Ebay and I return from every vacation with a shell that I have some from lots of different places.
Terri if you like, I could send you a little box of them for future use? Just let me know.
Lauri, thanks for the update on traci. i was getting pretty worried about her.
Hi everyone.
So glad to hear Traci is ok, Thanks Lauri for letting us know.
Sue, Hahahahahahahaha! of course I've been to the beach! In many countries!!!! and I do have shells... at my Mums house, 250 miles away! Sea shell wrapping paper sounds like a good idea! never thought of that.
I do love doughnuts.
It seems silly to send shells all the way from America, but I would love that Candee! Thankyou for offering and please let me pay the postage ok.
Well the snow has stopped and it's turned to rain and more rain here, good time to do some spring cleaning around the house. (I'm trying to convince myself of that)!
OMG I feel like I am snorkeling the reef. That has to be one of the most original, and beautifully organized gatherings of plant materials I have ever seen.
Hello everyone!
Sue your shells are gorgeous! Like all the greenery, it goes really well with the seashore theme. The top picture looks like the shore and the second with the dolphins and the yoga mat giving a feeling of deep below the sea! Love the way they are arranged.
I haven't found any materials to do mine yet! but I'm adding a little section of the tropical oasis I made, coz I'm feeling left out!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys just keep coming up with exciting stuff, I love it!
Haven't seen Adele, lets send out a search party for her too!! I bet Adele has shells!!
hi all
have no shell here
but love all the picture
it kind hard to make thing
when you work 10 pm to 6 am
but i still have time to read and look at all picture
elle
Now now, patience Terri, good luck I have none LOL! Good idea to jump in with that until you have more material!
Elle, don't let the shells distract you, how bout reeds and such giving a beach effect.
Hi elle,
I'm putting my shell arrangement on hold for now! but I did find a shell in the garden today... 1 shell, LOL!!
Working those hours must be difficult to get other stuff done.
I found out that it was Candee's Birthday last week, so although a bit short notice...
We are going to have a little party at the cafe tonight! Hope you can all pop in for a drink, oh and please bring a bottle!
