Thanks again for a fun Feb/March Game, to all of you that hosted/held cards and cheered us on!!! Lin, you didn't play, but it was great having you in the grandstands!!! LOL
Congratulations to all the winners ... have all the prizes been spoken for or are there still a couple of winners to go? I was gone this weekend so didn't get a chance to check the thread.
I might play in the next game. I haven't played since I think October or November. Wow! Tomorrow is April 1st ... can't believe it! I think I must have been snoozing- time sure flies, seems like it was just Christmas. I will be watching for the next bingo game. I know I won't have time in May or June since hubby is off then ... we will be doing some stuff around the house and taking the boat out and visiting family during his summer time break from teaching.
Good luck to everyone who still has names on their cards if there are still prizes available.
I would donate a prize for next game... I did this once but would like to know how to do it better this time around...
SUsan

Thanks 3 G for a wonderful game and thanks to your lovely cardholder Jannich too : )
Thanks everyone for allowing me to join in this game. This was my first time playing and I enjoyed it. And I got to see pictures of so many beautiful AVs along the way.
On another note... would someone (threegardeners) please call out #18 so I can feel like I've accomplished something :) That's my last call and without it checked off my list I feel like I've left something unfinished. It's driving me nuts LOL

Wow, it's a beauty too!!
Now you can have some "closure" MM.
Yes thank all of you who work so hard to do this for all of us... This is great..
Hugs,
Susan
Oh wow that is a beauty!!!
Oh Wow! Summer Sunshine is Gorgeous! I think a more appropriate name for that one would have been something like " Winter Ice". Love that variegated foliage!
Congrats! to all the winners of this game! I'm still deciding on whether I will have time to play in April's game if there is one!
Bingo is so much fun, isn't it? The friendships, the chat, the beautiful photo's. I think it's so awesome that we have such a great group of folks on this forum! I would like to extend a Huge Thank You to those who give their time and energy to host and hold cards ... and an extra BIG Thank You to all who donate prizes, whether cash/gift certificates, their own plants and leaves, pots, hand made craft items, all gifts from the heart ... such generous friends here on this forum! I feel honored to know you all.
BINGO!
*ok, I feel better now*
:) LOL, MullettMan! Cute! Hey, by the way ... how's little mullettman jr, doing? Any new pic's? I bet he's growing fast!
Mullet Jr. is packing on some pounds. He's up to 10.5 lbs from his birth weight of around 8.75lbs. I don't have a picture handy but don't mind me if I say that he's the cutest baby ever :) My wife and I think we've seen some hints of smiling, and not just the "I'm pooping in my diaper!" smiles. He's becoming a little vocal also, with a couple baby noises here and there. This Thursday he'll be 5 weeks old and I'll be about 140 hours behind on my sleep. I feel like I could lay down and not wake up for a week if it weren't for those pesky necessities like hunger, work, hygiene, and getting my taxes done before the 15th.
plantlady, How's FL these days? I used to live in Orlando until Dec. 06' and I have friends out there in Daytona. I spent some years in Gainesville and Palm Beach County as well. I have a few Adenium, Plumeria, Cassia trees and other tropicals with an adoptive family out there in Daytona. I had to leave a bunch of plants behind when I moved for fear they wouldn't survive up here. I'd like to get back down there sometime this year to visit but with the baby I'm not sure that'll be possible. It gets plenty hot up here in NC during the summer but there's something about a hot humid afternoon in FL that I miss... maybe because it's been rainy and overcast here for a few days now.
That was the last one I needed also. Day late and a dollar short. It is a very beautiful plant though.
MullettMan: Re: being @ 140 hours behind on sleep ... "Welcome to the world of Parenthood"! LOL. Being woken up many times a night will pass in a couple of months! I know some folks who have been lucky to have newborns sleep through the night very quickly, where other's are up and down every 2 hours with their new little ones for what seems like forever.
There are so many "fun" phases you will be sharing with your son. Isn't it wonderful seeing all the changes that take place, sometimes on a daily basis? Wait until you and your wife hear those first words "Mommy" and "Daddy" ... I know you will be grinning from ear to ear and wondering if you heard correctly! "Did he really say that"? Babies are such a gift! There will be joyous times as well as trying times ... I hope your times of joy outweigh the not so joyous ones.
Oh, so you lived in O'Town, huh? Couldn't pay me any amount of money to drive in that traffic jam on I-4 anymore! I remember Orlando back in the late 60's, early 70's (long before you were born probably) when my husband and I could travel I-4 from Orlando all the way through Tampa to St. Petersburg and NEVER see more than 2 or 3 other cars on the road! Can you believe it? That was of course before Disney was built and before the area began to grow by leaps and bounds! My husband and I have been in Daytona since 1973 when he got out of the military. I have never really cared for it much but we will be here a few more years, until he decides to retire. He's been teaching at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for 32 years and just loves his job. My dream has been to retire to the N.C. or Tennessee area in summer and live in Florida in winter. I don't know if that is how things will work out but we love the Smokey and Blue Ridge Mountains! Living for so many years in a tourist town makes me want a house in the country somewhere!
Well, I'm writing a book here ... best get busy and get some things done! Have a great day.
Hey Makshi! How are you doing?
I guess the Bingo game is over and all prizes spoken for? I sure hope you winners will post photo's of your prizes when they arrive! I've had fun lurking on this game. Still not sure if I will have time to play in the April game.
I haven't gotten any response to whether there is a host for that one yet...I will be happy to host...and Lin you should play and if you are away get someone to watch your card.
