I am growing petunias from seed. I have them in the peat pellets. Several have started to come up, but it seems like they have stalled and some look like they are yellowing. They are still real tiny so I don't feel I should try to transplant them yet. I don't have them under a dome. Could I be keeping them to wet? Do petunias like it warm or cool to grow from seed?
Thanks
petunia seedling help
Can you post a picture? If it's just the seed leaves turning yellow but the true leaves are fine then that's just a normal part of seedling development, but if the true leaves haven't come yet and the seed leaves are yellowing, or if it's the true leaves yellowing then it could be too much moisture.
Petunias like it warm, but they will fry if too close to the lights.
Thanks for your help. Sorry I don't have pics, but they don't have true leaves yet. It looks like some are starting tho.
I moved them into a warmer place and I am holding back on the watering. We'll see what happens.
