Wow Jannich, those are all STUNNING!
I was happy to read that a man grows them Texas Style as that is how I like to do my pots :)
I have never been to a show but your pictures sure do make it look like an amazing experience!
I can't wait to have my first AV grown from leaf :) I have never tried AV's so it's all new to me but I am happy to read that they like to be "played with" as I certainly LOVE playing plants and streps don't seem to be very good playmates for me *lol*
How lovely!
Thank you for sharing your experience Jannich.......really warms a cold Maine day :)
Kim
Frozen in Time is one of my very favorite choices!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing and you can give us more later...........we think your pics are great! It is hard to take pictures inside a building where there isn't enough light but my flash makes pics worse.
Yes ,I'm loving the pics too and wish I could've been there! BUT WAIT! I'm from Texas and I don't have a clue what ya'll are talking about - 'Texas Potting'!!!! ??? What am I missing out on?

go to this page and scroll down to Texas potting method.................
Thanks Gail ! Sounds to me like what you've been telling us to do all along......Except without wicking?
Oh Jannich..It looks like you had a "Fun" weekend.I Love all the beautiful pics you were able to take.I would have been in heaven if I would have been able to see them all in person like you. Can't wait to see the rest : )
I just personally like to wick as it is so much easier when I have so many plants to attend, Diane.
Good morning friends,I had such a good time.It was my first convention and would go again anytime its close enough for me to drive.I finally got to meet my long time email/trading friend Tish who drove over to Birmingham from Georgia. So that really made it a extra special. And she brought me all kinds of goodies to boot! Had to stop on my way home to pick up another plantstand! LOL.
Jan those pictures are fabulous!! I wish I had known you were going. We talked about it, but ended up just being lazy, but had I known you would be there, I would have made more of an effort! I just love seeing pictures from these conventions. Really, I have to attend one some day. Everytime we make plans to go to some type of plant show, something happens that we can't. :oP I'm going to quit planning and just spring it on the family the morning of! LOL Don't you know they'll just LOVE me! LOL ;o)
Loving all your pictures, Jan!
Good morning, Rain.
This is just as good a place to show the sinningias that Jan sent to me in a trade. They are growing so big (I am in shock). I think Jan just grew them well from cuttings(LOL)
I tried to send these pics to you, Jan but there were too many for your inbox and they came back to me.
Sinningia sp.hybrid (with red dots on the blooms)
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Those look SOOOO cute!
Great Growing :)
Kimber
waiting for Miss jan to post more pictures (LOL)
Kim, did you open your email to see the chiritas that Lyndon Lyons is offering? They will be at the national convention.
I did Gail, those are just stunning!
Kim
Jannich- Thanks SO much for posting all the pics of the show- It's the next best thing to being there LOL Every time I would see a pink one and think that's my favorite I would see another one!
Gail- You KNOW I love those pink blooms on the Sinn. Mackenzie! Beautiful! How big is the whole plant?
