I spent a long time trying to get Red- tailed Hawks in flight; most pics didn't turn out very well but heres one.

Heres a female Red-bellied Woodpecker coming in for a landing to the feeder. You can also see a male House Finch taking off on the top left side of the pic.

Hey Trois, where is "bird cam"?

Marlton, NJ

Very nice pics trois!!

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

The bird cam only works on my porch. I was at a State Park.

I had to temporarily stop feeding birds at my feeder because 2 Cooper's hawks moved in very close to feed off the birds on the feeder. I didn't have the camera set up because of no birds when I looked at the feeder and one of the hawks was sitting in the feeder waiting for a bird to show. After a week off, I think they may have moved away. I didn't want them eating all my Cardinals.

Thanks, pell.

What did the Canada goose say to the other Canada goose? "Honk." Over and over and over...

Great shot of the Red-tailed Hawk pelle!

There was some really good pics on the last thread, as well as this, I enjoyed looking at them all.

It's been terribly cold and dull here, but it brightened briefly today. This hen Pheasant was wondering how to get at the food stood on top of my pergola! This was through my window, of course after I lowered my camera a Woodpecker landed on the silo for a brief picking!

Boojum, That must have been an awesome sight seeing all those flocks flying over and thats so great about the Juvie Bald Eagle!

LOL,Nice pic claypa!

Thanks wallaby! Nice pic of the hen Pheasant!

I used some sunflower seeds to make the peanuts go further, I thought they were putting some birds off but they go first! I didn't think the Blue Tits liked them either, but yes they do!

Thanks pelle, it was funny to see the Pheasant on there. My pretty girl Great Tit posing.

Very nice pics!!

Oh yes Sunflower Seeds (especially out of the shell) are probably the most popular

seeds of all!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

The Great Tit (girl I think) and a headless Blue Tit, lol. The male Great Tit was going from the suet to the nuts keeping them for his girl and himself, he's always there to protect her.

I had a couple of packets of sunflower seeds I needed to get rid of, but these birds can get expensive, lol, them and cats.

I hadn't seen the Long-tailed Tit for a while, today I heard it then it went to the suet. It had a small feed then the male Great Tit shoved it off. I was squatted under the shrubs out of the cold winds, there was very little space throung the twigs in the bed to get these pics! This one I only cropped, I liked it as it was.

Long-tailed Tit on the suet, there was a small triangle only to get this through! (and my camera has gone funny again, focusing only on the left again! grrr)
