Ours in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is 26 April 08. You can join the North Star Lily Society right then and still get your member discount for bulbs.
It is this weekend, March 14,15,16th.
I am excited about meeting all the new people out there who are just hoping to grow a lily or two! Little do they know what awaits them!

And we're back..... Wow! What a busy day selling lily bulbs to old friends and new. Sue, Moby & I were swamped with interested Lily gardeners.
I pre-sold over 200 bulbs to just our local DG group around CR--3 big boxes! kitgary drove over to Des Moines to visit the garden show and pick up their bulb order + add a few more. Ticker and her hubby spent the day with us. Ticker helped in the booth and joined our Lily Society plus added more lilies to her order. Her hubby spent the day walking around with Moby's hubby & exchanging barbeque techniques.
Wow! I'm still toasted and I have a bunch of bags full of lilies to get rid of...
It was a very good day, although I did more visiting than selling! Matter of fact, I seem to have been absent for a good portion of my shift!
There is just nothing better than an early springtime visit with gardening friends.
I wish I could have been there, but I was in spirit ;)

You should have seen the Ionic Footbath fiasco. We finally saw what I was really made of... New Age methods are sooo pseudo science. Snake oil time at the fairgrounds.
Snake oil it is, but it was the only time I saw you, Sue and Moby site for 30 minutes straight. :) So, it was worth that. :)

Wow! You're all obviously, having a blast. Would have loved to come down and visit if it wasn't for the price of gas. :) Hope you did well.
And wev would have loved to see you! Our 'lily gang' is fun enough (as are the rest of the DG'ers) that I drive from Nebraska for it. :) Hope we'll see you around more as the lily season progresses.
My bulbs are still chilling in the garage as I wait for the ground to finish thawing.
