Great! I didn''t understand we were eating twice.
So if Mike is smoking briskets for the after-glow at TJ's, what's next?

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

Drinks and dessert here - will bring more if we need them - just let me know!

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Mitch! Gotcha down and I put myself down for a dessert too.!

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I really cannot wait - really LMK what else to bring and it will be there.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

well I know I HAVE TO bring a DESSERT..LOL so stick me in there and I'll see what else is needed once other have a chance to sign up.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Put me down for a veggie / dip platter and water.

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Gotcha both! Thanks!

west Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Add a #5 here for appetizer--I will bring fruit tray and flavored water, that's best since I have to drive a long way and I also don't eat meat (so that gives me a snack). By adding a #5--if I can't make it, there will still be enough.

T.J. I am thinking, will the meats be the type to serve cold?
I suppose there won't be a way to heat things, but we could bring something on ice to keep cold.
Just thinking out loud.
Josephine.

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

The main dishes can be hot or cold, but if they are hot, they need to be isulated in some way. Usually, a towel works great to wrap a hot dish in and keep it hot. I changed mine to a main dish because I am closer and it won't have to travel very long.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

TJ, put me down for a side dish. I'll bring something like potato salad or cole slaw.

Carla

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Carla! I gotcha down.

For those of you who are not as handy in the kitchen as you are in the garden, you could maybe get a premade dish or two at the store or pick up a bucket of fried chicken on the way. It doesn't have to be homemade.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

DD and I will each bring a side dish.

Kris

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Great!! I've got you both down, Kris, thanks!!

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

TJ I will add a main dish, will figure something out.

Fort Worth, TX

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

oohhh I love greek food... we go once a year to the greek festival in Dallas just for the food.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Good, greek it is.. George's closed down for a while after his father died, and mother was sick I think,it opened again, it was a hot topic for my cousin and I.LOL
I can bring tea or water too...
Went to Mexico when I was a kid,but greek is my favorite food,actually.....
since I've grown "older" I put my self on the "seefood" diet. :)
