okay, I need to really stop and wipe all the droolmoff the desk.....
We will be waiting the continuation!
Time to start bluebirding thread number 4
Those are adorable Dave! I really appreciate all the wonderful pictures and also all the info that you have included. This is my first year of birding and also Bluebirding and many of my questions have been answered just reading your threads. I also appreciate all the info you give on how you take your pics. Thank you so much and I look forward to lots more!
Great pics again and that 3rd one is a hoot!! He must be nervous or something...cracks me up! Maybe that is the BB's equivalent of pacing the floor in the delivery room! LOL!!
Mama is beautiful...I am partial to the females although they sometimes don't look as handsome as the male!
I love the soft look of the females!
I look forward to checking this thread everyday. Your pics are great! Em
She is so beautiful...and that is the look I fell in love with!
I ditto dell's comments. Last year was my first experience w/setting up a nestbox. Thanks to all you bb vets for guidance. Geesh, got about 3 in. of snow the last couple days - no bbs in sight yet in the Buffalo area! I will be placing two boxes this season and several hunting posts.
May I please have permission from you, Dave, to show some of your recent photos of mama and papa to my students? Eastern Blue Birds are NY's state bird and I plan to have my students do research on them prior to their arrival. Your photos would be helpful in guiding their identifying the birds when they land in our courtyard, and what we can expect from our guests in the near future.
Sure, OP, you have my permission. I am flattered that you would think of me. I have no problems with people using my pictures, so long as they are not making a profit on them.
Dave
See Dave, we aren't going to let you end this thread! LOL
Apparently not. I wonder when the powers that be will tell me to shut it down. It is getting long and those with dial up probably have to wait a while for it to load.
Dave
I'm on cable and its loading a little slow for me.
Whenever you have time please. :-)
