The Robins are here ;-)

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

So Lea, do ya think our Robins are buried this morning?!? I saw one a few minutes ago and he was looking around, and I know he was wondering why he came back so soon!! Hope you're ready for this foot of snow we're gonna get!! ;)

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Yep, I'm feeling sorry for the poor robins this morning that wind is blowing like crazy out there, they usually take shelter in the big cedar tree out back but I don't see any birds in it this morning, I went up to the neighbors for coffee this morning and I'm still there the wind blew me all the way up to her trailer, I'm just wondering what's gonna happen when I get back that wind is stronger than me LOL

Are you at work Felicia? This would be a good day to stay home for sure! I know your daughter didn't go to school today :)

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

No school, so I could not go to work today. I've been e-mailing a friend at work, and one of her attorneys is not coming in because he said the roads in Louisville are already bad. So, I've been watching the Cardinals, Blue Jays, Juncos (they really need to leave now!), etc., having a feeding frenzy!!

Hope you have enough supplies to see you through this mess!!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Oh yes, have plenty of supplies don't plan on going anywhere until next week lol I was in the grocery store mess the other day stocking up the only thing that I didn't get was my XX beer lol Gosh it was a crazy house at wally world the other day!

I filled the birdfeeders up yesterday and put them an extra pine cone of peanutbutter out there and those feeders are just a swinging in the wind lol Doesn't seem to bother the birds though, that's one of the nice things about the snow it brings more birds :) Haven't seen a robin anywhere though maybe they went back where they came from for a while.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

I am happy to report that we now have tons of Robins! While walking the dogs thru the fields yesterday evening there were at least 50 on the ground in the hay field! The sun was going down and they were just beautiful! The ground froze last night so I hope they don't have to wait too long to find food!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

How nice! I know that's a lovely site to see them like that, I have them all over the field when they can get food like that, haven't seen our robins for a couple of days since it's been snowing, we have state emergency declared on our highways and it's 13 out!

I do have lots of birds at my feeders which is good I love watching them and need to fill the pine cones up again lol I think most of the birds are eating from them they must prefer peanutbutter over bird seed lol Even the carolina wrens keep coming back to it. The starlings and blue jays are driving me nuts this morning, they can go thru some bird food, usually I clap my hands out the back door and they scatter everywhere but I think they are getting used to the sound now or they are so hungry they just don't care lol I'm not sure I have enough seed to feed them all before I can get out and go to town to get more and just bought a big ole bag!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Just started seeing robins yesterday, first sign of spring around here. I'm going to def look for that corn gluten.
