We are suddenly having a swarm of these small butterflies. They are very hard to get a shot of because they are never still.

Trois, I believe that's a Little Wood-Satyr, Megisto cymela.

The first pic looks like one of the Crescent butterflies, but it's hard to be sure:

I will try for better pictures tomorrow. I also noticed several gray butterflies that were bright sky blue with their wings open.

I understand. I was having real trouble with so many swarming on a small patch of wildflowers. I have the same wildflowers near the house, but no butterflies.

I think claypa is right. It looks to me to be a Phaon Crescent.
