Very exciting!

It's hard for for me to envision 'Wintersowing' in Florida, but obviously it can be done!

I can't wait to see your garden with that one rose encircled by all those red hot pokers! (-:

Congratulations!

Up here in the frigid north we've finally made it up to 32 degrees today. Maybe the snow will start to melt and at least we'll see our lawns again.

Fantastic! Great to see winter sown sprouts!!

I'm especially excited about the red hot pokers. I had a plant a few years ago that I got from a neighbor. It finally bloomed and then immediately died. I have no idea why. If all my little sprouts live I'll have more than I know what to do with.
The rose is special to me too because it came from a rose I grew from a cutting. It was a gift to my grandmother from my father both of whom are no longer with us. It only had a couple of hips and I managed to get about 4 seeds from it. So even though I could have done more cuttings growing one from seed is just fun to me. Maybe I'm a little too sentimental about my plants!
We had a little frost last night but tonight it's only supposed to be a low of 40.
So here's wishing you all in the frozen north a early spring.
