squeeze bulb sprayer.....

Detroit, MI(Zone 6b)

With a rubber bulb, old-fashioned. Any one know where they can be found? (I heard the now defunct Frank's Nursery chain used to carry them so I think they have still been made pretty recently)
Thanks!

I don't know if the item Park Seeds carries meets your criteria, but you might check them out. Good luck. Dotti

If you mean that little seed needle thing, for handling tiny seeds, that is similar. What I am referring to though is bigger and you put water in it and squeeze it out through a sprayer similar to a salt shaker , or, more precisely, like the sprinkle cap one used to put on a soda water bottle for sprinkling water onto one's ironing.

Yes, I love those! There used to be a bulb sprayer from Park Seed www.parkseed.com. I had mone for over 10 years before the whole hting just gave out...it didn't hold much water, probably 10 ounces.

Recently from T&M or from www.kinsmangarden.com you can get a set of things that thread on to a soda bottle for under $10.00. There are 4 different sizes of spray, or at least 4 caps with holes...not sure they are all 4 different.

Before you order them, ask if it's a 16 oz soda/water bottle or a 2 litre. I got the T&M ones and they were for 2 litre bottles. What happens is there is a suction and you squeeze as much water out as there is air to displace it...the plastic sucks in, collapses, and there is a crease which eventually fails (you'll spring a leak) I have used a 2 litre bottle only 3x and then I sprang a leak. We dont drink that much soda, but water would be a different story, and the smaller soda or water bottles might be more useful to me. Hmm, maybe I should just try the ones I have and see if they'd work....I have to find them, so I won't be posting right away :))
