Makes one realise just how long most birds' legs actually are! Usually we just see them crouched with most of the leg hidden in the belly feathering.

Outstanding photography. I think you would do well even if you had a box brownie. You would figure out a way to get these wonderful shots. My hat is off to you knowing how many times you snap the shutter to get just a few perfect shots.
