Shade loving and evergreen...oh yeah, with pretty flowers!

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

There is a co-op on Yahoo that buys from Terra Nova periodically. Melissa, Rachel and I all belong - maybe others. I can give you the informationif you're interested, Outta.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Outta you weren't dreaming you posted on our D-mail, will make babies for you.
And to let you know I have way to much cardboard to haul it all to Rach's my car is to small, I didn't relaize how much I brought home, and I don't have to stop and the other store on the way out, so you can follow me home and pick up yours then you don't have to make the trip on sunday, up to you. but I have to close the store Friday nite. so its best if I drive to Rach's cause I don't know what time I will get there.

Port Angeles, WA(Zone 8b)

Sound good Tills ~ and thanks for helping me with the brain thing. I was a bit concerned. I've been having quite a few "moments" of late, which is rather disconcerting for me. Maybe have to start taking gingko or something ~

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

And here all this time I thought I was losing it, so many treads, so many things going on at one time, But so much fun to be part of it all.
I Have to laugh at my boss who winned so bad because I ask for that day off and the following day, because he would have to do my shift, I never ask for much, but there are very few times I do, I been with the Com. for almost 9 years and he not even a year, told him sorry its a FAMILY thing and I have to do it ( he dont need to know anymore) and all DGers is my family

Oh wonderful Tils - your boss will just have to cover for the family outing! Enjoy enjoy!!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Loven It

Port Angeles, WA(Zone 8b)

I did a cross stitch once for a friend that said "Friends are the family you choose." Couldn't be more true. We can't pick the bio family but we certainly can pick those with which we choose to spend our free time!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Amen to that

Do there threads ever go away or do they just fade off to the bottom of the stack? Sometimes it gets really confusing trying to follow all this stuff but it surely is amusing.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Really, they just kinda fade away, unless we've digressed to a topic that somebody wants to start a specific thread for. We are a hard bunch to follow - I'll second that.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I second that.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I'll fourth that

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

We are rarely on topic for long. some of us are notorious in this regard...=:0)

The threads are all there - you can go back a long way if you have the time & inclination to do so. Select PNW forum and scroll down - you will see it all, and then some.
If you are ever bored, I highly suggest reading them - you won't believe what you missed trying to keep up with them the first time through!

I think I need to get a wireless laptop and attach it to my hip.

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

let me know where I can buy the hip attacher!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

And if you ever have the time, like Suzy said go back and see some of the old ones, then you can see how crazy we are, We all fit together, we are a very good knitted group. I love it here. sometimes we all jump around and lose which is which tread, like me, Ha Ha I'm always lost. But we all love it. And I hope I said this for all? If not then just beat me with a wet noodle, I can take it.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

WW - I think we'll be less maniacal about our posts and digression as the weather improves. Pretty soon we'll have enough daylight to be out in the garden and staying out of "posting" trouble!!

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

I just might go back and read it all. The main thing that is confusing at first is the use of real names instead of "nicknames". The WW for me is good. Weally Wierd.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Willow, you are not the only one, I have a little trouble with that at frist to, but eventually you'll catch on. and what I have done if I didn't know ask or D-mail them. There is nobody going to to call you dumb, its all about learning from the ones that have been with DG longer. Its like LOL it could stand for a lot of different things. And some of us use are real names. And the aberrations come from some of the DGers that have long names, easier to type. But don't D-mail me I may not have the right answer.
I hope this helps.

For the longest time I thought LOL was "lot's of love!" Pretty funny when you get it from certain people, especially the workwork types! Guess I'm just a lovey person!

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Rach, I'm with you - I thought the same thing, and had the same puzzlement. I just put it down to across-the-pondness.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

"across the fondness"

Whidbey Island, WA(Zone 7a)

Just me catchin' up again - and loving this thread!!! I like this definition of LOL even better than the laughing one!!!!

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

'across the fondness' - that is really the best!

ATF. xo, L

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I thought It meant " Lots of Laughs"

We should make a sticky thingy and get a dictionary of initials for words going. I know I will never remember them. Patricia
