mine need it for defense against dogs that show up now and then. i had a friend catcha spur in the ankle recently. 2000 hospital bill, and it sill hurts. it really dug in! BAAAAAD boy

she is still alive and doing well. every so often i put peeps in with her to care for after they r about a week old so she don't smoosh them. she loves it cuz she can't lay or hatch but she still gets to be a mom and have company. nope i haven't had time to work on that yet been to swamped to have 5 min alone let alone get everything done,lol. i'll let ya know how it goes once i get time to get cracking on it.
1 Tbl unfiltered acv per gal. I also give acv to my dogs and cats. Acv helps to stop the fleas, makes thier blood more acidic which the fleas do not like. The people who took acv during the bobonic plague (sp) did not get it. I could go on and on how good acv is for your health. Anyhow we all like ACV.

i start when mine are day old. so they get used to the taste. when you start yours be sure they don't have access to other water, cause they may not like it. if you put minced garlic in it, then they may like that cause they can pick out the pieces to eat!
i should take ACV more often.... love the Bragg's brand
That's what I've got!
now, mince three cloves of garlic. freshly minced, straight into jar. allow to infuse 24 hours. garlic loses it's better medicinal qualities within 24 hours of being opened if not infused. the ACV preserves th egarlic qulities. you will LOVE the results...
I was so glad to find this thread! I have been putting garlic infused ACV in all the waterer's for a couple of weeks now, but didn't know of all the good benefits of it. Would crushed red pepper flakes be good, or should it be powdered?
