I ordered some Mimosa pudica seeds from an Ebay seller, and got an extra bag of them as a freebie. Sensitive plant is such a fun plant for kids, grandkids, and kids at heart to grow!
I sowed 5 of the seeds, and 3 have germinated after 10 days at an average temperature of 70 degrees.
The seeds are small, and I think they would go through the mail fine in a regular envelope. I have about 30 packets (about a dozen seeds in a packet) ready to go.

Hi..may I send a sase for a few seeds, I like to try things with my 4 year old grandson. We had a happy time with his sunflower this past summer...then it went to seed and he cried..but got happy ag ain when I told him it was making all those seeds for baby plants next year, It would give us something to watch now -indoors this time
of year.

I found a couple of seeds in my stash and sowed them just recently... The very first true leaf (the one that came after the pair of cotyledons or nurse leaves) already did the "sensitive" thing, folding up when I brushed it with my fingertip. What fun!

Ah, you beat me to it! I just cropped down some cute seedling pics... the first leaves on mine are pretty long, although I've got them as close to the lights as possible.
