Now, on my way to Matt's, there is a sign that says "Caution, Cranes Walking". Low and behold, to my amazement....

I arrive at Matt's. But am I allowed on the property? Eventually, after being accepted by ferocious guard dog!

Looking thru the flowers, we come across Matt's famous trademarks. In this case, one particular trademark:

On my way home, looking for a shortcut, I see some signs...

Which lead me to...a silver cow?

Who looks me straight in the eye, and asks "are you lost?

So, she sends me to her boss. "The Big Guy"

Who hires some fellows to help me find my way back home

And, they send me an angel, who finally leads me back the right way.

And, in the end, I came home with 17 more hibiscus. Of the above:

Thanks for the pretty photos and the naarative, Cat. And for buying a lot of my babies from Matt! And especially for that glorious shot of Sorority Girl, the first bloom "away from home" that I have seen, and Matt is surely growng it well! And oh yes, that is Susan Schlueter up above; Gerald is NOt my type.

ps: gotta post SOMETHING after Cat's display . . so here is one that blooms about five blooms a year but can be sooooo fine: Rum RAisin.

And if you don't like THAT version, try this on. Rum RAisin again, believe it or not. EAsily the most maddening nonbloomer I've ever produced.
