Has anyone started these seeds from Burpee: http://www.burpee.com/product/annual+flowers/ice+plant/ice+plant+harlequin+mix++-+1+pkt.+%28100+seeds%29.do

All it says is Ice Plant, but I couldn't find a Harlequin Ice Plantin PF . . . does anyone know its genus/species? Also, are they easy to start?

This is the one that looked most like yours. Harlequin Mix isn't a real cultivar name, it's just a description they give for a pack of mixed seeds, so that's why you won't find it in Plant Files.

I remember my mother used to grow ice plants . . . the foliage looked like it was covered in frost, and the flowers looked like this - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/1669/ - although I don't think this is it . . . I'll keep a lookout though! I think it would be a good suprise to give her for mother's day, if I can find it!
