I get those green anoles too...no idea what species they are.
They are great little insect eaters but if I see one of them checking out the butterflies too closely I'll grab it toss it over into the neigbor's yard. Not that it does much good as it will show back up in my yard in due time. Eventually they might learn they're going to get tossed if they're on my duranta bush?!
I see them on the sides of the brickwork of my house as well but they seem to change to a brownish color.
Here's one posturing for the camera :o)

Those are males, displaying their throat flap, trying to attract a female. The little brown ones are the Cuban anoles & the green ones are our native American ones. Don't ask me the scientific name. It;s too early in the morning. I;'ve been calling them Chameleons for years and now, I;m told, it's proper to call them Anoles. I love them and have loved them ever since I had one as a child. Owell.
A face only a mother or owner could love! LOL!
I just saw my first hummingbird the other day. I am so glad they are back! Also saw a hummingbird moth tonight. No pics unfortunately...they always come out to eat when I don't have the camera...lol.

Oh boy! The critters are coming out of their winter hiding! Nice to see such a wonderful variety! Love the photo of "Dave"! :-) Keep em coming, everyone!
When I was on my way to the gym there was a guy on a motorcycle that stopped to get a gopher tortoise out of the road. It's definitely that time of year!
