I sowed three different types of Verbena in a 24 cell APS, and kept it under my bathroom sink (dark and warm). I checked today, and hooray, I have babies in ONE row. Unfortunately that means they had to move downstairs under the lights where it isn't so warm. I did cover the seeds with Cow Pots to keep out the light for the most part, but it will be cooler.
Everyone cross their fingers that my other two rows sprout - unfortunately although the ones that did are pretty, they were my least favorite of the three different kinds... not least enough that I was willing to sacrifice them, however!
Verbena seedlings
you can just cover the ones that haven't germinated lightly with some perlite or soil and that should keep them moist and dark enough
I'm rooting for you Zarebeth. Which 3 did you sow?
Aimers Peaches and Cream - shades of peach and cream, of course - 100% germination
Aimers River Mix - shades of lavender, blue, purple - nothing yet
Burpee Crystal Ball Mix - purple, salmon and cherry - nothing yet.
