Were Shari and Randy get together as teachers...whooooo...what an ideal couple. We could add Carol and Jenny and then there would be little need for any others. I am sooo lucky to know the smartest people in the world.

I love you too, Pepper. You don't give yourself enough credit for such a wonderful person that you are.

There's my girl! Head cheerleader is BACK!! Man o'man! Wouldn't that be a kick?! A bunch of us together in a tropical "how-to" school? Whaat fuuuun we woulld have! Don't know how much teachin we'd get done, but it would sure be fun!

Just came in from a waltz around deadheading etc, and I think I have creepy crawlies all over me! Gotta go shower before the kids get in from diving and hog all the bath water!

Been gone all day helping my cousins get ready for an estate sale. Really emotional. Their mother was my dad's favorite sister. Their dad died and four months later their mother left us. They had a good life...94 and 90 years young.
Still pretty emotional for all of us. You all understand. As soon as this is over....GONNA CLEAR OUT ALL OF THIS JUNK THAT I THINK I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT. Mike says naaaw. Punish our kids and make them take care of all of it after we are gone. Now just consider this. We have lived in this house for 41 years. Our kids will be 42 on March 8, and 45 on March 27. Guess how much JUNK WE HAVE? End of story.

Good night Mrs. Calabash.

Christi - JB and I found out just exactly how much junk we had when we packed up to move...been living for a year and a half out here this time so far, and have only missed two things that are in storage...and those are photo albums! Everything else, (and we are talkin thousands of pounds of stuff here ) we haven't missed at all. What does that say about all those "things" we had laying around??

I can vouch for Pepper - she is absolutely the sweetest lady - she was a big help to me when my husband died - thanks, Pepper - I know my beloved plants have a wonderful home, and that is a blessing to me!

I can also relate to the 'junk syndrome' - I have two closets full of clothes that I have outgrown - and it doesn't seem as if I can lose the necessary weight to get back into them - think I need to make some trips to the thrift store to donate them? LOL

I too many clothes and I get rid of a bunch at least 2 times a year. I will literally have 2 or more trash bags full every time. I enjoy the emptier closet til everyone starts buying me more clothes. I have an itty bitty closet stuffed and 2 dressers. That's not counting all the shoes I have. Those you can never have too many of. :~)

Pepper, we are about the same size - maybe we should just trade back and forth - LOL - you wear jeans, but I don't, so I guess that won't work - oh, well - I'm moving to Florida this fall - living there won't require all these 'cold weather' clothes, so I will be getting mostly new stuff!!!!

It's always fun to get new clothes. Especially when you get them off clearance. lol

Have you been to Kohl's clearance sale? My friend said they had clothes marked another 75% off the already marked-down price - blouses were priced at less than $3!!! I haven't gone - I wait for them to show up in the thrift stores!

No, I have too many clothes as it is right now so I'm not shopping. lol. Alot of my clothes are work clothes. I get really neat t-shirts at cost in the gift shop so I am constantly buying those. I have too many now!! lol. But when I clean out my closet again I will be hitting sales.
