Hello!
I usually nick my canna and vining seeds prior to planting, but once saw (on a cooking show) a tip on safely removing outer seed shells by soaking them in something (maybe vinegar?). I thought I'd remember the method when it was needed (very soon), but can't recall.
Any ideas other than nicking / soaking in water? With how bad my vision has gotten, I'm afraid I'll be including fingers in my other method.
Thanks in advance!
