This reminds me of the Andy griffith episode when Aunt Bea goes to Hollywood.
Anyway, Have fun (of course) and if you get a couple hours going or coming at LAX, go to In-n-Out Burger, the taxi'sknow where it is, only a couple blocks from the entrance of LAX, get a double double, fries and a shake. The cups have the little palm trees on them.
Would you believe it!

LOL>.....we are all on vacation with Christi and Mike Vicariously..!
And we are sooo glad to have you. Jenny and Frank are the consumate hostess and host. Like we have been friends all our lives...or cousins. Their home is beautiful and the accomodations put any luxury hotel to shame. Had Papaya right off the tree with lime right off the tree for breakfast. Fruit of the Gods. The avocado tree is heavy with one pound fruit. I could very easily get 5 fruits and vegetables here and never leave the lanai. The Luau was beautiful. Right on the ocean. The dancers were exciting with beautiful costumes. We took a ride today and saw so many things that tourists would not even know to look for. This afternoon watched the baby whale practicing with it's momma. It was as though she was telling him to keeping doing it until he got it right. After all his life will depend on it. Exciting to see the water spouts from the whales and wait to see if they would present. Only been here a little over 24 hours and have made it into 48. What a privilege this is. And it is even more fun that all of you are with us in spirit. Big do tomorrow.
I have that book Jeanne, although mine is a very old edition, it's great! It will take days to even skim it ! Great score!
It feels rather like the "Twilight Zone" to see Christi posting when she is just downstairs! Too cool. We had a nice day yesterday, although they must be tired out as we kept them on the move all day long. Christi is just as nice as you all imagine her to be, and Mike is a sweet huggable teddybear, they are great company. Glass bottom boat adventure today..and Carol is flying over from the BI - we will be picking her up from her daughters house tomorrow morning.
Aloha from us all!
LOL>.you sure got Mike down dontcha!?
Sounds like I'm going to have to bring her a Papaya tree now!
Yep...papaya and lime for breakfast is soooo habit forming! Yum! Add a malasada (Portugese donut), and you are in heaven!
Have fun with the whales you guys!
Yokwe,
Shari
That's so funny...because today, my first Papaya of the season dropped!
There must be over 100 or maybe 150 on Jen's trees. Today's breakfast was avocado and banana...RIGHT OFF THE TREE! Better than beef steak any day of the week.
As usual, really tired. Can't get this time change right. 9pm here, 1am at home and I feeling every bit of it.
Another glorious day. Every hour is packed with joy and excitement. Still don't how I got here but Thank God I did!!!! Have hinted at this but have I told you that Jenny and Frank are super. Jen's mother is too. Such beautiful people, inside and out.
Mike and I are staking homestead posts on the guest suite first thing in the morning. haha
night, night.
Kilikina
Mahalo...Aloha
Glad you are having fun Christi! Looks like all of those bananas came at just the right time Jen! Enjoy!
