Well, my friend, you've stocked me up pretty dern good! I think I will referr to my place as "The Garden That Mitch Built" (~;
Anyone want . . .
LOL - and Christi got twice what you have there... I guess I need to get you caught up.
*pouts... gee Bronc and LouC have gardens that someone else built....pouts...all I have is what I can get done...* ROFL
just teasin y'all
Mitch, I don't visit this forum usually (after all, I'm in IDAHO!). Your title caught my attention, I'm curious, why are you clearing everything out? ~ Pat
He's going to OK, Pat, and it's not OK.
Yep sure am - moving in June clearing out to put the place up for sale.
Mitch, it sounds like you had Oodles of stuff and it must hurt so much to leave/sell/give it all away! I've left one home that had landscaping I worked soooooo hard on! Leaving the flower gardens was tough, knowing I would be living in apartments for several years was a killer!
Good luck with your new adventure and I hope you find yourself a new garden spot quickly!
Thank you - that is why I had to find them good homes..
homes he knows he can visit them at when he comes back to visit the area *G*
maybe ;-)
Maybe nothin! You're comin back to visit!
You know I will be down here - have to, to many friends down this way!
You tell 'em bronc..I know I'm not close by to y'all but as y'all know welcome to stop by anytime you are over this way *S*
Mitch, don't even think about not coming back here to visit. I just couldn't bear it.
Never knew anyone so generous. Without your gifts, I could never have the garden of my dreams. The "crew" is coming tomorrow with the Specialty Dallas Soil to build more beds to put what you gave to me last week. Most of it I have tried to keep wet and in the makeshift greenhouse until they can help me get it into the ground. Mitch is one of few still left on this earth. Our buddy, Bronc, is reaaaallllll close. What a blessed old lady I am with two young men to be at my side.
LouC
Yep Christi, you are pretty lucky to have two strong able bodied young willing guys living nearby.
Not to mislead, they are not "the crew". They bring and help but wouldn't dream of having them do the work of the guys that keep my yard and help me put the ideas into reality. There are two men who roll their eyes when I say "I have an idea". One is Mike, the dear spouse, and the other is Juan, who has been helping me in the yard for many years. They both know it will entail a great deal of labor for one or both. hahahah
