Weight Loss Challange Jan. 27 - Feb. 2

Wow! Pebble is U.S.A. bound. YEAH!!! It will be so good to hear from her when she gets here. I so wish I could meet her in person and spend time with her.

Anna, congratulations on your fixed computer. I sincerely pray it stays fixed this time. Whatever game you are playing on it, maybe you should get a separate compter for that game or all of your games and leave this one just for internet.

Tricia, we are rooting for you. You can do this. Remember, even when the competion is over you need to keep eating and exercising to keep losing the weight. What is you ultimate goal or healthy weight according to you doctor? Never lose sight of that weight and continue losing until you reach it. Then work really hard to maintain it for the rest of your life. Don't let yourself get into the rut of allowing a few extra pounds to stay on without being worked on immediately. That happens all too often. It did with me and that is why I weighed 200# or more for most of 20 years.

Zarabeth, are you feeling better? Can you carry natural supplements like garlic with parsley, the new elderberry product, etc, with you when you travel? I have no idea what kind of living accomadations you have while away from home and how much luggage you can take with you.

Vic, I'm so glad you got to go walking again.

Ally, are you still with us? I know you are busy as a bee with all your caregiving tasks. So much running to be done. You and yours are in my prayers.

Sue, are you able to get any sunshine in your life? How about one of those lights if you don't have a sunny exposure window to sit in front of? I know being in a small apt. with 2 small children has to be difficult. Once the driveway is established and solid the heavy trucks can start hauling in the lumber, etc. to start building the house. The spring thaw will test the solidity(is that really a word?)of the new drive. Once is goes thru one season you should have an idea of how much maintance it will take to keep it in good condition. Ours needs lots of gravel added every couple of years. It needs more right now in a couple places but more farm money needs to come in to get that done. I may be able to do it myself if I just watch my spending and get my credit cards paid down so that I can put it on them.

Kris is going to try to come tomorrow to help me finish insulating the well house. It is suppose to get into the mid to upper 50s for the day so it will be possible to leave the door open while we work. The inside of the roof & the doors are the primary work areas. Then perhaps just a heavy plastic temp. ceiling. They only need enough height to let Kyle and Holly stand up when they go inside. The only extra supplies I can think of that I might need to buy more of is 1" styrofoam sheets. It may take more than I have. I have some pieces of other thicknesses that we can use to fill in if we need to. Like all the pieces that use to be in the windows and are no longer there because I have plastic up now. Tho I'm not at all certain the plastic is doing as much good as the styrofoam did. But the house is much lighter now with just the plastic. I think I may use styrofoam in the top half of the windows next winter or even this one just to see if it helps. It can't hurt. It will cut down on the light but won't leave me with none like it was before.

I need to get the birds taken care of. We still have hot water so I'll take them a bottle of that. I know, my birds are spoiled.
