I decided to Welcome Karen on the MG Forum instead of the Welcome Mat.
A Newbie from CANADA.
And, 'another' Karen. . .
Maybe Karen would not mind being called by her nickname that her father gave her 'Tanglee'
Karen, you can let us know about that. If not, we can call you KarenT.
Karen has grown the common MGs for years, but is yet another of many that has just discovered THE INCREDIBLE MORNING GLORIES.
I hope everyone will join me in giving Tanglee a warm welcome.

Welcome Tanglee, always a pleasure to get another addict among us!! As I am sure Emma told you this is a wonderful forum. Although a bit slow right now (Florida people where are you?!) it will be jumping in a few months. Welcome aboard...

Welcome aboard Tanglee.

Hi, Many thanks for your warm welcome. I have to thank Emma for introducing me to Japanese morning glories and also for leading me to this fascinating site, both of which I had never heard of and I've been gardening 26 years!! Just goes to show me that there are always new things to learn.
I've grown perennials and annuals including common morning glories from seed for a long time and it's my favourite hobby. I'm really excited about the Japanese MG discovery and can't wait till spring to start the seeds. I live in the Toronto Ontario area so will have to wait. Meanwhile I will be a frequent visitor to DG, especially this forum! It's fine to call me Tanglee, it brings back fond memories of my father who was also an avid gardener.

Welcome Tanglee! I am also new to growing JMG. This will be my first year. There are very sharing and wonderful people here, that will make you an addict in a very short time. Will be looking forward to seeing your posts.

Welcome to the adventure!
Welcome Tanglee,
I also found this group very welcoming! I can not wait to grow the fabulous seeds I have received. I am nervous about growing the precious nil's that I do have seeds for, but it's the unknown that is also exciting-and then, of course, success will be nice, too!-Kath
Welcome Karen and all newbies to MGs! The more the merrier! Your gonna love these vines! Take it from a new fan of these beautiful blooms! And yes, you can thank Emma for getting me hooked last year, too! :-)
