There was a species of sawfly that was not listed on the sawfly search. It is a very nasty species that have been eating my red pine so other people should know. It is nonnative European Sawfly Neodiprion sertifer. I tried to add Order and Family but the search engine didn't recognize it.
Need to add Order and Family Hymenoptera Diprionidae
malus2006
I have added the new family to BugFiles by creating an entry for the European Pine Sawfly - Neodiprion sertifer here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/4987/
You should now be able to add any information or images that you have to that entry.
If you have any images, I would be pleased to be able to use one to illustrate the family in the index,

Ok thanks. I currently don't have any pictures but will have to wait a few months about April and May for larvae pictures but I have not seen any adults.
