Hi - I'm heading to NC on February 2 to explore and look for a teaching job. Do you have kids in elementary school or do you teach elementary? Can you give me some input about your district/school? I'm looking for a school that is not workbook/drill and kill based, that is learner-center with lots of variety in language arts, hands on math, and a generally integrated curriculum (ie. everything is everything, not segmented into unrelated subject compartments.)
Anything you have to offer me is greatly appreciated.
I would like to be rural, not in the mountains (but maybe). I have lots of dogs and a very tiny (like none) savings for land.
Thank you!
