I decided to try these plants this year, and they are not listed on my plant guide.
I was reseaching germination information on the web, and noticed both said not to cover.
I lightly covered with a little vermiculite...
Anyone starting these from seed, and think they will be ok if lightly covered?
suggestions?
Plectranthus Silver Shield and Lobelia 'Queen Victoria'
I've never grown these, but usually when it tells you not to cover seeds it's because they need light to germinate. So I think they'd probably be better off without the vermiculite. But if someone who's grown these tells you something different then I'd trust them!
Well, I guess I didn't cover them with too much vermiculite, both the lobelia 'queen victoria' and the silver shield are coming up!
They took longer to germinate so I was worried but they made it :)
