My son has an old 55 gallon aquarium. Glass on 3 sides. I would like to use it to plant seeds. Won't it work. I'm going to put the soil I will use on the ground, then plant seeds, then sit aquarium on top. I also would like to know if can use compost as the growing medium.
Please help before I screw it up
