and I just discovered the "Sports" mode today with this Cardinal. I thought this was kinda cool...

Wow...very nice pics Indiana Lily! I was gonna say I expecially like the... best...but after looking at them again I can't pick a favorite!

Greta pics, lily! I am still playing around with mine, using different shooting modes. I found a different editing program for free to down load so I may try it. I am cheap and hate to pay a $100 bucks for software! lol

Thanks much, Rose & Nanny, that's very sweet! :) I hear ya Nanny about not wanting to spend money on software.

I guess I just need to marry someone rich who will support my "habits" so I won't have to work. LOL!!

Had to go to Seiad for gas so I thought I'd chec out the flock of Canada geese that winter over just East of the gas station. They have been joined by several Cackling Geese.

The sun was shining today and feeders were busy, but my fingers were too cold to wait long for shots. I'm such a wimp.

This feeder was full on Saturday. As you can see, by this morning, only the lower level still had "good seating".
All 4 bottom seats were full and the sparrow above sat watching for the others to leave, while others kept trying to land, without success.

Hi all! Got off work this morning and am tired, but it didn't stop me from taking a few pics. ;-)

Here was a RBW defending his post from a male Cardinal/ I can't ever seem to be able to catch the wings clearly when they are in motion, but I will keep trying.
