We call these daddy long legs, although I'm not sure if that's correct?
I am really curious as to what they are doing. I found them in my garden last summer locked together this way. Is it love or war perhaps?

Info on Daddy Longlegs (Harvestman) mating....
"....If a male detects a female, he pounces on her, attempts to grasp her from the front with short appendages known as pedipalps, and tries to copulate. While other male arachnids use their pedipalps to insert sperm into the female, male daddy longlegs have true intromittent genitals. In both sexes, the genitals are located just below the mouth, so the position for copulation is halfway between face-to-face and belly-to-belly"
Thank you very much .... and I'm so glad it was love!
