Cyclamen coum

As I have no experience with collecting seeds from Cyclamen I would like to know what is the right stage of the seedpod to harvest them. One of the seedpods has slightly opened but is not dried yet, is it ready or should I wait ? How long does the seed stays fresh, because it's the only one that is in this stage while the plant still has many flowers..

Here's a pic. of the seedpod;

Once the pod starts to curl it's skin back it's ready, the seeds will be wet but you can take them out and let them dry.

They will be fine until late summer for tender ones, or the autumn for hardy. I usually sow the tender ones inside in late Juy, they germinate in about a month. The hardy ones I sow in October to November in a darkened place in the garage. Plenty of time!

Ah, that made it all clear, thanks Wallaby!
