Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

and finally, finally . .
;-)
here is the kind of bloom that made me excited about "Imagine" showing more color than the one above.

Y'all have some warm weather and gentle rains now, Hear?

Barry - you never cease to AMAZE me - you truly have a gift! I LOVE all your hibs - Magic Potion is a definate on my "gotta have it list" and lil Mr. "Pokey" (aka Grand Design) - I'll be happy to discard that wayward ole hibbie for you - just send it my way! lol :) Ivana

p.s. Thanks for the compliment - that goes a lonnngg way - course you're the creator so - I can't take much credit - but it was really kind of you!

Geez, Barry...can't you switch to hybridizing yuccas while my wallet refuels?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

He would find the good ones to be sure.

Holy cow, between you and Kyle, I'm becoming financially frustrated and challenged for wanting them all, even tho Kyle isn't selling yet. What a beautiful showing of blooms you have both had recently. I dearly love "Grand Design". I just plain love all the others except Lone Wolf, that I like, but it doesn't show up against the dark foliage like others do. I love it when they jump out with color and contrast. Beautiful.

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

They're all beautiful, Barry!! My picks are Lone Wolf and Imagine :-)

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks, folks; your comments are much appreciated. Because Grand Design is pretty variable I thought I'd show you some of its looks. I like them all, and btw, R will have an exclusive on this one . .

Those are just gorgeous, Barry!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gorgeous.

Does anyone know what the maximum penalty for counterfeiting might be?
I'm warming up the scanner right now...

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Mesa Verde and Imagine knock my socks off. My fangs are drooling for those 2!
Gordo,
we need to hitch a truck, drive to barry's, bring ferocious hib watching dogs and cats with us, to guard the truck, and turn back before Barry ever knew what hit him....errr...the garden.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Special UNDERCOVER agents (see attached) have been assigned Code Red Terrorist Alert Duty because of your threat, Cat.

We will not sleep until this threat has passed!

Rajah and Ginger are Tibetan Spaniels, funniest breed we know of, great bed dogs and foot warmers, and (sigh) pretty much useless as watch dogs.
:-)
The Shelties, on the other hand . .

Adorable dogs, Barry - and boy do they look ferocious!!! What Cat didn't tell you is that the secret hibiscus bus travels with a big supply of milk bones lol ;-)

Swingtime is gorgeous!

Hmmm...Looks like we're gonna need assistance from a higher power...

Your dogs are all adorable Barry!

Ladies--if you want me to join you on this raid, I can offer up the services of my Vicious Attack Sheltie

Everyone's pets are so cute! Gordo that kitty pic is just to die for; Liz your Sheltie is beautiful, and Ardesia, I can tell that Boolie is quite vicious. I'll bring the new kittens cuz if nothing else, they'll get under foot and trip everyone! Just too fun :-)

This is kitten Vincent.

Hmmm . .
Last night I wrote a text only post for this thread, admiring y'alls pets and such, and today it is not here.
Anyhow, thanks for sharing pics of your animal families. Vincent and Kirby and Boolie and the gray cat look like my kind of people!

peace,
Barry

And, here are my 3 ferocious guard protectors. Resting for the big trip!

LOL Alice, I recognize that yucca!! It loves you. And it has gotten its PINK back!! I was back at that little nusery a couple of weeks ago and picked up another weird yucca. Amazing what hybridizers are doing all over the plant world.

I will volunteer my Machobaby, the featherless wonder, to peck any hibiscus snatchers to death!!

Thumbnail by Kell
Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Oh Kell, that yucca is drop dead gorgeous and it is getting redder by the day. It is almost as good a protector as Boolie; any hibiscus snatchers would have to get past it's pointy parts.

And Machobaby, he has a beautiful face and the rest of him is pure plush. If it wasn't for his beak I would think he is a cuddly stuffed toy. Don't you have some attack cats around too???

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Cat, do those two cats know that the brown one is a ... gasp . . DOG?
;-)
They are very cute but not very fearsome.

You want scary, look at my little street urchin rescue Tibbie, Ginger. She's digging traps for your invading troops, and its dirty work. As for that bird, Kell, I have not answer for aerial assault, but my Martins are starting to arrive, and you'd better hope they dont think that hairless wonder is a hawk. Martins don't fight fair when a predator show up.

Okay okay okay!

Ginger insisted that I post a more flattering image of her!
Geez! Can't take a joke.

Alice, I am so glad you like the Yucca. I love anything with color!! I still have 2 PINK phormiums I had bought you and forgot to send. Typical!!

Barry, I have never heard of Tibetan Spaniels. I just love their little faces. I am desperate for a little dog. One of these days...................
How much do they weigh?

Poor Baby, his flying days are over. He used to fly all over the house. Now he tries and goes thud.

Yes, I do have cats, 3. One is my heart. She was a stray who found me. I have actually left her a lot of money in my will. Or rather whomever gets her. Some every year she lives. My son can't believe it. LOL. She will bellyboop any intruder into submission!

She is soooooo cute! Ours do that too, esp. of a morning when I first get up and go into the living room, or am in the kitchen trying to cook. They are so sweet!

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

My entire life insurance policy goes to my furbabies, with my best friend as their beneficiary. This way they can continue guarding the hibs, and the house, which is also theirs!
Oh, an my mom can stay too, if she wants to, lol

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

LOL!

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Ha ha, love the dogs! Barry's dogs are too sweet to keep us away!! :)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9a)

Cute dog Barry!!!!
