Eveyone work on developing more contacts in Japan who would be willing to do one or both of the following:

1) order seeds from Kyushu...

2) make trades with people who list on the regular seed exchange at Kyushu which is written in Japanese

3) Go to the asagao festival displays and acquire seeds from the growers and/or displays that offer seeds...

It will happen if people put the right directed effort into getting the seeds...

Sounds like we need to make a road trip to Japan. I'll do look out, who's going to drive the getaway car???

In another thread, Soulja wrote,
"My husband said all he has to do is learn how to say Morning Glory in Japanese and his friends there will kill themselves to get him the best and most coveted seeds in all of Japan! They did that for my last request which was Japanese rice paper for my woodcuts. Beautiful, strong paper makers they are for sure! Though we didn't have to kill ourselves for this, their main request when they come here is Reese Cups, Burger King and Levis. And everything is "No Ploblem!"

We sure could use a contact like this!

So do we contact Soulja? hee, hee!

I think that your husband is about to be my newest bestest friend. lol

Here's examples of my prediction that at least some of the Japanese asagao enthusiasts are developing an increasing interest in species other than the most common ones
