I'll treat you to lunch if you'll pick me up! We could find something else to make it a day... I'd for darn sure better be back on my feet by then! And DH will be out of town, so a distraction would be welcome. :-)
Hi, ya'll. Wow, a lot has been going on while I was "out." OK, the dates I proposed were actually meant for lunch. The 15th or 29th, but those didn't seem to fly. If you are just thinking of getting together for drinks after work, the 8th, which is also a Friday is ok. I think Happy Hours usually begin around 4 or 5. I am not picky about places, but as long as it is in a "good" area and near Metro, I am okay with it. Willard has to be nice since it is downtown.
Critter, this thread started with an invitation to do lunch in Glen Burnie somewhere, then when some of us mentioned that we couldn't because we worked in D.C., Happy thought to get those who work in D.C. together for lunch or drinks after hoedown. We are just now trying to figure it out for the D.C. shindig. I am sure the Glen Burnie lunch is still open if anyone is avilable to go and finishes talking it up.
