donkey ear seeds

San Antonio, TX

I have a donkey ear plant that is about 4 feet tall. It has one stalk, with blooms at the top.
Inside each bloom is a small seed. What do I do?

POST PICTURES!!!!! PLEASE :)

I have never heard of a "Donkey Ear Plant".

Would really like to see that. :)

Sorry I was of no help.

What are you looking for information on? If you have that plant in conditions that are agreeable with it I think you just need to sit back and wait for the seeds to mature.

OH - and take pictures. :)

Here's the only thing in Plant Files that came up with that common name--Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/54444/ Is this your plant lilacis? I have no idea how to start the seeds but figured having the Latin name might help others know what plant you're talking about. I know some of the Kalanchoes reproduce by making little babies on the end of the leaves, I don't know if this one does that or not but if it does that or if it makes offsets then that's probably an easier way to get new ones than starting seeds.
