are four o'clocks shade flowers? if so i am interested -do they do well in high heat?

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

no they are not. i tried to grow them in the shade, and the seeds didnt even germinate.
I had some plants in early sun, late afternoon shade, and they did OK.

as for high heat... i find they will wilt just a bit... but once the sun is going down, they perk right back up again.

I'm sure someone in the TX forum would know whether or not they do OK in the shade down there... but up here, no.

thanks

Do you have any more 4 o'clock seeds? I'd love some, if I'm not too late. I have a few things in my 'have' list, if you might be interested in trading.

Thanks!
