Got to the voting booth and vote about the Dave Garden Party, if you have any questions LouC or myself would love to answer them for you if we can. We need to see all the Daves Garden people we can up there saying what they feel and why - if this is to happen we need your input!!

i voted. my answer was yes with conditions. distance means money....gas and motels. the closer to home for me the better. i love the idea of a far off place but realistically i couldn't do it.

gene, look on the right side of the home page. every week (i think) there is a new question with all kinds of topics.

I voted yes, God willing I will be there. I think it will be great.

nope it is apple cider, apple juice, cinnamon sticks and sugar in it and then everclear after the rest is mixed and cooked some...and umm I am too but I have yet to burst into flames when I have had it ...

I am not even sure yet... I have been told things in the chat room last night have made some changes, but I get the clear feeling from the group that we are not going to be doing a big national thing like we had talked about. Kinda sad really we had big dreams but with the responce on the voting not being the way we really thought it would go. So things have not been working out and I think we are going to try to find a new way to do what we set out to do.

I really hope that it comes to fruition!

I guess a lot of us are a little sad at the loss, but Dave is right the numbers are just not there.

I am very sad, and disappointed, we should have had a better response.

Well, then, we just need to make the Texas RU the best it's ever been.

The Dallas one was huge this year... really somthing to see waht me and Josephine started 5 years ago turn into something so wonderful and huge. We had well over 75 people there in total, really wonderful.

I know! Now maybe we need to make it an all-day thing.

We could actually even have vendors, you know. There are sure plenty around.

Would be nice... we had a wonderful DG party at Broncs home last fall too... very nice. In North Texas we do have one of the best and most active get together groups on Daves. I guess that feeling is why we wanted to share something bigger. We will still have the biggest and best ever this year and they get better each year - so I cannot wait!

And God willing we will have a big group again this year, it was really great.
I have found another park by lake Arlington that is right by the lake with large oaks, with parking real close and the bathrooms a few feet away, what more could you ask for?
Oh and the pavilion is bigger too.
I haven't found out the price yet, but might want to stay at the other place anyway, it is pretty nice.
