Found this one at Lynx Lake near Prescott Valley, Arizona. On a Tansyleaf Spine Aster - Machaeranthera tanacetifolia. in late Summer
CLOSED: Skipper
I think it is an Orange Skipperling. I checked -butterfliesandmoths.org- a very good site and also found the same butterfly on -depts.ttu.edu-. Hope this helps, what a beautiful picture! Also if anyone could tell me how to do the "links" it would make my day! (The kids have left me on the computer unsupervised and I kinda get lost sometimes) Brandy
Thanks for the ID.
