Road trip! Oh if only I had a way to go I'd be there in a heart beat.

thanks Jill for bringing this back up. I have been thinking about you Traci but have not taken the time to dmail lately. Any way where are the pictures Traci? Cindy

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I got a quick Dmail reply from her during a 30 second work break today... she's doing OK, just really busy, and she said she'd be posting soon! :-)

Thank you

Hey ya'll. I tell ya, I hate southern weather sometimes. First I am not getting many blooms because they are sooo crowded. When they do decide to start opening, BAM, we get down into the 20's & 30's. I walk in the back everyday and all I see are frost bit would have been gorgeous blooms. I truly could kick myself for cutting the ONLY one to bloom well. I have lots of buds, though, so keep your fingers crossed for me. I am currently a jinx, so I can use all the help I can get. LOL.

You're not a jinx, you've just hit a rough patch... enjoy whatever buds and blooms you come across, and don't fret over the ones that get nipped... everything in that yard is a big bonus! I hope you'll have some nice days to enjoy just puttering around for a few minutes at the end of the day. :-)

Same here to Traci. I was looking at my photos from last year at this time. My yard had beautiful blooms everwhere. This year only spotty and loaded with winter weeds. The cold doesn't stop them.

Traci you are not a jinx!! (Are you almost a princess though)?
